What happens when your body forces you to slow down? In this episode of Living in the Spirit, I reflect on a recent bout with the flu that left me in bed for several days with weakness, dizziness, nausea, and coughing. That experience became a powerful reminder that without our health, our ability to live fully and fulfill our purpose is greatly impacted.
This conversation explores why caring for our bodies is a spiritual responsibility. Scripture teaches that our bodies are the temple of God’s Spirit, and honoring that temple means making choices that support our well-being—eating well, exercising, resting, and letting go of unhealthy habits. God desires that we prosper and be in good health, even as our souls prosper.
